As you may have noticed, things have been a bit quiet here at Astrek Association. Due to a few events (mostly work-related) in RL, both of us have found ourselves with substantially less time available.
As a result, we’ve had to put Astrek Association “on hold” in the short term. We won’t be taking down any of the guides or tools available here, but we also won’t be keeping them updated for now, either.
We both still love Firefall, never fear, and we hope to be back in the future. In the meantime, feel free to stay in touch.
Thanks for all the feedback and support!

Take care and I hope all goes well! See ya in game!
Hope to see guys back in business soon. Rock on \m/
:)
Please come back soon! Just started playing Firefall and found all your articles very useful! Thanks for the work you have put in.
I can’t wait for the new and improved Astrek Association guides for FF!!!
I hope all is going well for you both!
Come baaaaaaack!!!
FYI today, July 29 2014 is Firefall’s Official “Launch” Day! You probably know this, but just in case. ;-) Congrats to both you beta testers.
I just started playing Firefall and got really overwhelmed by the sheer input of information and the rather bad tutorials of the game.
Your blog is a blessing into skies and it’s really sad that you guys unfortunately don’t have time anymore to keep it up to date. I hope you’re doing OK and that nothing too serious happened in your RL.
Take care
I agree, come back.
Same here, please come back!!!
As of to this 18th March 2015, i think we can all agree that Firefall changed a lot since this site was last seen up to date. R5 is following another path to simplify new player’s experience and increase their gamers base. Unfortunately, this also means that websites like astrekassociation.com are becoming more and more useless. I don’t think there are any websites of that kind regarding Firefall anyway. I kinda miss the old depthness in which i spent way too much time diving in. Oh well, Firefall is still a cool casual gaming experience, but that’s about it now, the “end-game” content is nothing but grind.
Thanks so much. All the best.
I miss this website.
And I agree – the game has changed a lot and traded on a lot of its depth and complexity.
But this doesn’t touch the awesomeness of this site, even if out of date.
You guys let me know if you intend to come back and if you need a helping hand around here to bring things up to speed. Full pro bono. Even though I’m an Omnidyne fan.
Cheers
