Firefall VIP Packs Announced!

The Firefall VIP packs have just been announced, and will be available as of the next patch. These packs give you access to a range of ‘premium’ perks and are available for a range of time periods.

VIP packs cost Red Beans, rather than RL money, so if you have a stockpile of Red Beans already you won’t need to spend any more cash until they run out.

Note that these packs aren’t available in-game yet – you can see them in action right now on the Public Test Server, and they should go live with the next patch.

VIP Pack Rewards

VIP packs provide a range of rewards:

  • 2 extra crafting workbenches in the molecular printer
  • 8 extra marketplace slots for selling items
  • 50% bonus crystite on mission rewards and crystite pickups

One Response to Firefall VIP Packs Announced!

I think this VIP thing walks a pretty fine line between free-to-play and pay-to-win. But it does give hardcore players a lot of what they’ve been asking for (especially more printer slots)… for a price. Red 5 certainly has the right to make money off such an awesome game. I think they may have found a well-balanced game/economy/profit model here!
